With a strong academic foundation in Clinical Psychology, holding both a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree, Majitha brings over five years of dedicated experience as a psychologist and special educator. Currently pursuing board certification as a Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA) through the Qualified Applied Behavior Analysis Credentialing Board (QABA®), she is deeply committed to providing evidence-based, compassionate care to children and adolescents. Specializing in Counselling, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Special education, and Child-centered psychological support, focuses on helping children with autism spectrum disorder, ADHD, learning disabilities, social-emotional challenges, and behavioral concerns thrive in their development. With extensive experience supporting children aged 4 to 18 years, she conducts thorough psycho-educational assessments, develops individualized treatment and behaviour intervention plans, and delivers therapy that is both structured and nurturing. A key part of her approach is active collaboration with interdisciplinary teams including speech therapists, occupational therapists, psychiatrists, and neurologists, ensuring a holistic and personalized care plan for every child. Understanding the importance of continuity beyond the clinical setting, she places a strong emphasis on parent involvement. This includes providing tailored parent coaching, home programs, and strategies to promote the generalization of therapeutic gains at home and in school environments.
